Volleyball Recap: Hillsborough Baptist Comes Up Short

Hillsborough Baptist was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Families Instructing Students HomeSchool Hawks, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2022.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-18, 25-10.

Hillsborough Baptist's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Families Instructing Students HomeSchool, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Hillsborough Baptist will host Excel Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Families Instructing Students HomeSchool, they will take on Hernando Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
