Baseball Recap: Franklin Academy's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Franklin Academy barely beat Potsdam the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Huskies put the hurt on the Sandstoners with a sharp 12-2 win on Wednesday. The Huskies not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 25, 2024 (when they won 11-1).

Camden Fleury was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched six innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Fleury was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Caleb Hall was incredible, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs. Merick Meacham was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Franklin Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.

The Larries have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.25 runs per game on average), something the Sandstoners will no doubt try to take advantage of.
