Basketball Recap: Auburn's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Auburn had to endure a seven-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged the Fulton Red Raiders out 36-34. The win was all the more spectacular given the Maroons' disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 632nd, while the Red Raiders are ranked 277th).

Auburn's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Fulton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.

Auburn will be playing in front of their home fans against Ithaca at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Fulton, they will venture away from home to face off against Homer at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
