Basketball Recap: Geronimo Comes Up Short

After flying high against Tipton last Monday, Geronimo came back down to earth. The Geronimo Blue Jays were outmatched by the Walters Blue Devils and fell 64-19. The game marked the Blue Jays' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Geronimo has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season. As for Walters, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-3.

Geronimo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 49-36 win against Sterling on the 25th. Walters has also already played their next contest, a 43-38 victory against Chattanooga on the 25th.
