Softball Recap: Sioux Valley Cossacks vs. Sisseton Redmen
In what's become a running theme this season, Sioux Valley gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They never let the Sisseton Redmen onto the board and left with an 11-0 victory. Winning may never get old, but Sioux Valley sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Morgan Lemme made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit over five innings pitched. Lemme was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Amelia Jacobson was a standout: she went 3-for-3 with five RBI, a triple, and a stolen base. Another player making a difference was Abby Axtell, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and a double.
