Menlo-Atherton put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They never let the Saint Francis Lancers onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The Bears' winning goal came courtesy of Lucas Selvik.

Menlo-Atherton's win bumped their record up to 6-0-1. As for Saint Francis, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Menlo-Atherton will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory at 4:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Saint Francis, they will be home for the holidays to greet Los Gatos at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
