Columbus Grove never let their opponents score on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Jefferson Wildcats with a sharp 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won three contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Columbus Grove and bumps their season record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Jefferson, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbus Grove will venture away from home to square off against Patrick Henry at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
