Football Recap: St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Triumphs

St. Joseph-by-the-Sea hadn't done well against Kellenberg Memorial recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Vikings walked away with a 23-14 win over the Firebirds. This was payback for the Vikings, who suffered a 28-7 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, Kellenberg Memorial still got an impressive performance from Daniel Licari, who threw for 103 yards and one touchdown while completing 80% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground.

The victory got St. Joseph-by-the-Sea back to even at 3-3. As for Kellenberg Memorial, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
