Basketball Recap: Deshler Comes Up Short

Deshler lost against Red Bay back in January of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Deshler Tigers took an 83-75 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Bay Tigers.

Red Bay found their leader in freshman Khalil Luster, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 22 boards. Those 22 rebounds set a new season-high mark for Luster.

Deshler's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Red Bay, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 17-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Deshler will take on Lauderdale County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Red Bay, they will square off against New Site at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
