Byron's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Austin Packers with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Packers: they've now won six in a row.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The final score came out to 25-18, 26-24, 28-26.

When it comes to explaining why Austin lost, don't look at Addison Walsh. Despite the final result, she had 20 digs and one assist. Walsh has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 16 times she's played.

Byron's win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Austin, they now have a losing record of 13-14.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Byron and Stewartville will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Austin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
