Atherton scored the most points they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 63-54 to the Byron Eagles. The Wolverines were probably out for revenge after losing 67-54 to them when the teams met back in March of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Atherton dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Byron, the victory snapped their losing streak at 21 games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-5 record.

Atherton will head out on the road to face off against Yale at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Byron, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 59-46 defeat against Birch Run on the 19th.
