With a playoff win on the line, Limestone rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They skirted past the East Peoria Raiders 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Rockets have posted since April 28th.

Limestone is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-13 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for East Peoria, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 27-9.
