Superior and Miami are an even 4-4 against one another since September of 2015, but not for long. The Panthers will head out to challenge the Vandals at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Miami took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Superior, who comes in off a win.

It was a proper cat-fight when Superior took on Ray on Thursday. The Panthers came out on top against the Bearcats by a score of 3-1. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Bearcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Miami was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 3-1 to ALA - Anthem South.

Despite the defeat, Miami saw an underclassman step up: freshman Danica Valenzuela had 24 digs. Those 24 digs set a new season-high mark for Valenzuela. Kaylynn Porto also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

Superior now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Miami, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Everything went Superior's way against Miami when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Superior made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
