Softball Recap: Cesar Chavez Takes a Loss

Cesar Chavez fell victim to Marana and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Tigers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Champions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cesar Chavez saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gianna Jaquez, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Cesar Chavez's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Marana, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-13.

Cesar Chavez does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marana, they have already played their next contest, a 4-0 loss against Boulder Creek on the 30th.
