 Parkland is 9-0 against William Allen since May of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Monday. The Parkland Trojans will look to defend their home field  against the William Allen Canaries at 6:30  p.m. Parkland is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.1  runs per game  this season.
 William Allen is hoping to do  on Monday what Hazleton Area couldn't  on Saturday: put an end to Parkland's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Parkland narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  team sidled past Hazleton Area  7-6.
 The team  relied heavily on  Connor Gerhart, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Andrew Klotz, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-4.
 Meanwhile, William Allen came up short against Salisbury Township on Saturday and fell  9-5. William Allen has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
  Daniel Rivas was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 Parkland has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record  this season. As for William Allen, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.
