Softball Recap: Washington Falls Short of Lakewood in the Playoffs

Washington and Lakewood squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Washington had to settle for second. They lost 9-0 to the Rangers. The Tigers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Lakewood, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-7.

Coming up, Washington will face off against Alliance at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Tigers their first taste of in-conference action this season. Lakewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
