Soccer Game Preview: Laramie vs. Green River

The Laramie Plainsmen will be taking part in a tournament against the Green River Wolves at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Laramie's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed back in April. They put the hurt on South with a sharp 6-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Laramie.

Meanwhile, Green River sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Sheridan on Friday. Green River better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Isa Vasco, as she scored every single goal for her team.

Green River's victory bumped their record up to 11-7-1. As for Laramie, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Laramie came out on top in a nail-biter against Green River in their previous matchup back in March of 2022, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Plainsmen repeat their success, or do Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
