Matthew Sloan Drops League-Best Effort on Friday
Starting off the list is East Hickman County's Matthew Sloan, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Sloan's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his ninth straight game with at least 119 rushing yards dating back to last season.

On Friday Ray rushed for 143 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He is becoming a predictor of Lewis County's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-3 when he doesn't).
The win was the third in a row for Lewis County, bringing their record for this year to 5-3. Ray and Lewis County will challenge Summertown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
