Basketball Game Preview: Cloudcroft Bears vs. Dexter Demons

The Cloudcroft Bears will challenge the Dexter Demons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Cloudcroft's tournament run continued when they took on Mesilla Valley Christian School on Saturday. Cloudcroft lost to Mesilla Valley Christian School on the road by a 53-38 margin. The Bears haven't had much luck with the SonBlazers recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Dexter came up short against Hagerman on Thursday and fell 56-43. The Demons were down 48-25 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Cloudcroft now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Dexter, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Cloudcroft couldn't quite finish off Dexter in their previous meeting last Thursday and fell 52-50. Can Cloudcroft avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
