Soccer Recap: Tri-Central Takes a Loss

Tri-Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 7-0 to the Marion Giants.

Tri-Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-8-1. As for Marion, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-5-1.

Coming up, Tri-Central will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Lapel at 6:00 p.m. Lapel's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Tri-Central's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Marion, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Blackford on the 27th.
