Starmont pushed their record up to 16-5 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Alburnett, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-12.

Starmont has already played their next contest (against North Fayette Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Alburnett, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-1 victory against Jesup on the 2nd.
