Volleyball Recap: Verdugo Hills Comes Up Short

Verdugo Hills lost against Grant last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Dons came up short against the Lancers, falling 3-0.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Grant scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-18, 25-20.

Verdugo Hills now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Grant, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3.

Coming up, Verdugo Hills will challenge North Hollywood at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Grant, they have already played their next match, a 1-0 loss against Glendale on the 5th.
