The Bacon Academy Bobcats will venture away from home to square off against the Wethersfield Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bacon Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.5 runs per game this season.

Bacon Academy is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Montville just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 4-3.

Bacon Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabrielle Russo, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wethersfield). They were the clear victors by an 18-4 margin over Platt on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won three in a row.

Bacon Academy suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 14-4. As for Wethersfield, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.
