Tri-County won the last time they faced Clinton Central and things went their way on Saturday too. The Cavaliers were the clear victors by a 12-5 margin over the Bulldogs. The Cavaliers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matches by seven runs or more this season.
Grace Luck made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted over her last nine games. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, Kami Wilkerson and Bella Dominguez did most of the damage at the plate: Wilkerson went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Dominguez went 2-for-5 with one home run and two runs. That's the most hits Wilkerson has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Reese Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Tri-County will venture away from home to face off against Faith Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clinton Central, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bethesda Christian at 5:30 p.m. on the 27th.
