Navasota proved they can win big last Friday (they won by ten) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Caldwell Hornets 3-1. The Rattlers haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Navasota's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jaxson Bowman, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Navasota picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 11-8. As for Caldwell, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10-1 record this season.

Navasota has already played their next game, a 17-0 loss against Bellville on the 29th. As for Caldwell, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-2 win against Smithville on the 29th.
