Soccer Game Preview: Trinidad vs. Atlas Preparatory School

The Trinidad Miners are taking a road trip to face off against the Atlas Preparatory School Gryphons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinidad will be strutting in after a win while Atlas Preparatory School will be coming in after a defeat.

Trinidad is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Dolores Huerta Prep get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Friday. Jadyn Barron had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Trinidad.

Meanwhile, Atlas Preparatory School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against Manitou Springs, falling 10-0. That's two games in a row now that Atlas Preparatory School have lost by exactly ten goals.

Atlas Preparatory School's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Trinidad, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Trinidad might still be hurting after the 10-0 loss they got from Atlas Preparatory School in their previous matchup back in April of 2022. Can the Miners avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
