Hollins hadn't done well against Clearwater Central Catholic recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Hollins Royals came out on top in a nail-biter against the Clearwater Central Catholic Marauders, sneaking past 3-1. For the Royals, this counts as revenge for the 10-3 win the Marauders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Justin Stiles was excellent, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4. Trent Anderson was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Hollins now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Clearwater Central Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Looking ahead, Hollins will be playing at home against Osceola at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Clearwater Central Catholic, they will venture away from home to take on Northside Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
