Baseball Recap: Andrews Comes Up Short

If Andrews was feeling good fresh off their 18-0 takedown of Timberland on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Andrews fell 7-4 to the Emerald Vikings on Saturday.

Riley Jordan was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Andrews' loss dropped their record down to 3-3-2. As for Emerald, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-5.

Andrews will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Philip Simmons at 6:00 p.m. on April 1. As for Emerald, they will head out to take on Georgetown at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
