Basketball Game Preview: Southern Bulldogs vs. Westlake Wolverines + How To Watch

Southern hasn't had much luck against Westlake recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Saturday, Southern got the win against Great Mills by a conclusive 41-21. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Southern can attribute much of their success to Huntyr Marks, who posted 17 points and four steals. That's the most steals Marks has posted since back in January. Another player making a difference was Raigen Dieringer, who put up five points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Westlake had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 66-54 victory over La Plata. The Wolverines have beaten the Warriors the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Warriors has come to flipping the script.

Westlake found their leader in freshman Reagan Harris, who went 10-for-19 on her way to 22 points and six boards. Kobe Carter was another key player, putting up 13 points and six rebounds.
