Basketball Game Preview: Bernstein Dragons vs. Roybal Titans

Bernstein and Roybal are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. Having just played yesterday, the Bernstein Dragons will get right back to it and host the Roybal Titans at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Bernstein knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 17 matchups -- so hopefully Roybal likes a good challenge.

On Wednesday, Bernstein was fully in charge, breezing past Mendez 77-23. The Dragons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Roybal came up short against Robert F. Kennedy Community on Friday and fell 65-56.

Bernstein has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 39 points. As for Roybal, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-2.

Bernstein took their win against Roybal in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 81-61. Does Bernstein have another victory up their sleeve, or will Roybal turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
