Soccer Recap: Kane Comes Up Short

Kane was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Ridgway Elker, falling 4-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Ridgway this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in August.

Kane's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Ridgway, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-1 record this season.

Kane will be playing in front of their home fans against Coudersport at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kane will be up against Coudersport's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.56 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Ridgway, they are taking a road trip to face off against North Clarion at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
