Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Middle College). Everything went their way against the Animo Robinson Monarchs on Monday as they made off with a 30-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won 11 matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Middle College has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 22.1 runs over those games. As for Animo Robinson, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.

Coming up, Middle College will be playing in front of their home fans against Alliance Health Services Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars are facing the Wolves at the right time seeing as the Wolves are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Animo Robinson, they will square off against Stella High Charter Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
