Volleyball Recap: Rampart Gets the Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Rampart had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top against the Niwot Cougars by a score of 3-1. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won three in a row.

It was another big night for Gabriella Melecio, who had 29 digs. She has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more digs the last 12 times she's played. Ariana Clarose was another key player, getting nine digs.

Rampart's victory bumped their record up to 24-2. As for Niwot, their loss dropped their record down to 19-7.

Rampart wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Legend on the 13th. As for Niwot, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Ralston Valley on the 14th.
