Baseball Game Preview: La Center Wildcats vs. Columbia Bruins

For the second straight game, La Center will face off against Columbia. The Wildcats will venture away from home to challenge the Bruins at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. La Center will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.

La Center's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Columbia 12-0. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.

Austin Aseph looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Caden Taylor was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Wyatt Brannan was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base.

La Center kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in three consecutive contests.
