Flag Football Recap: Four Straight Home Victories for Rocklin

Rocklin hadn't done well against Del Oro recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Thunder never let the Golden Eagles get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Renee Dragseth threw for 169 yards and one TD. Kendal Linehan was her top target, picking up 70 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Rocklin's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-12. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.8 points on average over those games. As for Del Oro, they moved to 9-8 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Rocklin and Del Oro are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Thunder will take on Johnson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
