Softball Recap: Alta-Aurelia Takes a Loss

Alta-Aurelia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 8-0 to the East Sac County Raiders. The Warriors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in July of 2024.

Alta-Aurelia's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for East Sac County, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Alta-Aurelia is set to square off against their familiar foe Storm Lake St. Mary at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, East Sac County will take on rival Pocahontas at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Raiders 2, the Indians 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
