Baseball Recap: Pasadena Comes Up Short

Pasadena was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Splendora Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-3 last Tuesday.

Pasadena's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Splendora, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Pasadena will challenge Kingwood Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kingwood Park's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Pasadena's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Splendora, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Splendora Wildcats face off against Crosby Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
