Basketball Game Preview: Chelsea Bulldogs vs. Haslett Vikings

The Chelsea Bulldogs will be taking part in a tournament against the Haslett Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Chelsea is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Michigan's top teams: Western, who was ranked 12th at the time (Chelsea was ranked 19th). Chelsea strolled past Western with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 52-35. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Haslett was able to grind out a solid victory over Williamston on Friday, taking the game 47-38. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Haslett's record now sits at 21-3. As for Chelsea, they pushed their record up to 18-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Chelsea and Haslett were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, but Chelsea came up empty-handed after a 69-68 loss. Can Chelsea avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
