Volleyball Recap: Kimball Triumphs

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Kimball and Gordon-Rushville meet (two straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Monday. The Longhorns walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Mustangs. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory back in September.

The final score came out to 25-20, 22-25, 25-17, 26-24.

Jade O'Rouke went supernova, getting 29 digs and one assist. Those 29 digs gave her a new career-high.

Kimball's record now sits at 12-17. As for Gordon-Rushville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-22 record this season.

Kimball has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Valentine on the 28th. Gordon-Rushville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
