Volleyball Game Preview: Moreau Catholic Mariners vs. Newark Memorial Cougars

The Moreau Catholic Mariners will challenge the Newark Memorial Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Moreau Catholic will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, Moreau Catholic made easy work of Washington and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Moreau Catholic was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-19, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Newark Memorial came up short against Mission San Jose on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-16.

Moreau Catholic's win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-2. As for Newark Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 5-18.
