            Darlington's game  last Thursday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Thursday. They were the clear victor by  a  12-1 margin over the Crestwood Knights. The  victory was a breath of fresh air for the Falcons as it put an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.
 Ryder Morgan made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  struck out nine batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit. What's more,  he gave up only two  walks, the fewest he's  had since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with one  double and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Cambron James was a standout: he scored three  runs and  stole  Three bases. while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.  Shane Oliver was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing  Two bases. while going 2-for-3.
 Darlington  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .576. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Crestwood only posted  an  OBP of  .167.

Darlington's first  win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Crestwood,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-4.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Darlington will venture away from home to  square off against Dillon  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Crestwood, they will hit the road for the first time this season to  challenge  Eau Claire  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday.
