Volleyball Recap: St. Anne-Pacelli Comes Up Short

St. Anne-Pacelli was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Landmark Christian War Eagles. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the War Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Despite the defeat, St. Anne-Pacelli saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Allie Vickery had ten digs and four assists.

Among those leading the charge was Ryan Lawrence, who had 16 digs and four assists.

St. Anne-Pacelli's loss dropped their record down to 25-7. As for Landmark Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-13 record this season.

St. Anne-Pacelli wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Northside Methodist Academy on the 27th. As for Landmark Christian, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against McIntosh on the 25th.
