Volleyball Recap: Norton Extends Winning Streak to Three

Norton entered their tilt with Plainville on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cardinals. The Bluejays have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cardinals, too.

While Norton might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Plainville scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21.

Norton found their leader in sophomore Halle Pfannenstiel, who had 11 digs. Leah Clark also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Norton's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Plainville, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Coincidentally, Norton and Plainville will both be playing Phillipsburg the next time they take the court. The Bluejays will head out to face the Panthers on Tuesday, while the Cardinals will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
