While Ocean City might've come up empty on Tuesday, Brooke Douglas wasn't going down without a fight. Despite the loss, Douglas was still locked in as she struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
