Baseball Recap: Glenn Takes a Loss

Glenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cedar Park Timberwolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Timberwolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-0 on Tuesday.

Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 10-18-2. As for Cedar Park, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-13-1.

Glenn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cedar Park, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake Travis at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Cavaliers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Timberwolves' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
