Basketball Recap: Burlington's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Burlington came into Saturday's game having lost 13 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They managed a 34-29 victory over the Deer Creek-Lamont Eagles on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Elks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Burlington's win ended a nine-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-13. As for Deer Creek-Lamont, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Burlington will challenge Kremlin-Hillsdale at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Deer Creek-Lamont has already played their next contest (against Ringwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
