Volleyball Game Preview: Hanover Hornets vs. Pikes Peak Christian Eagles + How To Watch

Hanover is 2-8 against Pikes Peak Christian since October of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Hornets will be playing at home against the Eagles at 6:30 p.m.

On Friday, Hanover didn't have quite enough to beat Bethune and fell 3-2.

Hanover took Bethune into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-16, 25-19, 20-25, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Pikes Peak Christian had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Friday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Highlanders. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted since August 24, 2024.

Pikes Peak Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-28, 22-25, 25-13, 25-18, 15-13.

Hanover's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Pikes Peak Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 17-2.
