The Jefferson Saints will head out to take on the Englewood Pirates at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Jefferson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.

Jefferson is likely headed into the game with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Bennett on Friday. The Saints fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2. Jefferson haven't had much luck with Bennett recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Own Goal Opposite Team and Ashley V Avendano Lopez scored both of Jefferson's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, Englewood hasn't lost a match since March 12th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand STEM School Highlands Ranch a 5-0 shutout. Considering Englewood have won four matches by more than four goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Englewood, their win bumped their record up to 4-1-2.
