Basketball Game Preview: Ripon Tigers vs. Winneconne Wolves

Ripon is on a four-game streak of home losses, Winneconne a seven-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Ripon Tigers will welcome the Winneconne Wolves at 7:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Ripon ended up a good deal behind Berlin and lost 69-54. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 424th, while the Indians are ranked 176th).

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 72-31, which was the final score in Winneconne's tilt against Waupun on Tuesday. The match marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Winneconne's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Ripon, their loss dropped their record down to 2-18.
