Recap: Silas Rams vs. Foster Bulldogs
Even though the Foster Bulldogs scored an imposing 71 points on Thursday, the Silas Rams still came out on top. Silas took their matchup against Foster 83-71. Winning is a bit easier when you drain seven more threes than your opponent, as Silas did.
Silas' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tyson Parker led the charge by dropping a double-double on 16 points and 10 assists. Another player making a difference was Albert Kopec, who scored 16 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals.
When it comes to explaining why Foster lost, one person who can't be blamed is Liam Glanville. Despite the final result, he scored 12 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Xavier Crawford was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Silas' win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Foster, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
